# Workspace usage

> Track message credits by date and AI agent

Open **Usage** from the workspace dashboard. Owners, Members, and Viewers can
view usage. Support Associates do not have access to this page.

## Choose agents and dates

The default view shows all agents from the start of the current month through
today. Choose a specific agent, or **Deleted agents** to inspect usage left by
agents that are no longer in the workspace.

Use the date picker for today, yesterday, the last 7 or 30 days, this month, or
last month. You can also enter a custom range of up to 366 days and choose
**Apply date range**. Both dates are included, all dates use UTC, and future
dates are not allowed. Filters stay in the page URL so you can share the view
with teammates who have access.

## Read the totals

| Metric | What it counts |
| - | - |
| Message credits used | Completed model requests and voice minutes charged to plan or recharge credits, including Playground and opted-in test overflow. |
| AI agents used | Agents with message-credit usage in the selected range, including deleted agents. |
| Test credits | Usage charged to the separate automated-test allowance. |

The current agent count can differ from **AI agents used**, because the latter
includes deleted agents and follows your filters. Pending credit reservations
are excluded from the totals.

**Usage history** charts daily message credits, including days with no
usage. **Credits used per AI agent** shows each agent's total and share. Deleted
agents remain in the breakdown with a **Deleted** label. An empty chart means no
completed credit usage matches your filters; try another agent or date range.

Model rates, attachment charges and voice usage determine credits, so one reply
can consume more than one credit. See [Plans and billing](https://cntillion.com/docs/workspaces/billing.md).
